JEDDAH, Arab News: Women are disproportionately affected by identity theft in the Kingdom’s court system due to the lack of adequate identification systems, Asharq Al-Awsat reported. Compounding this problem is the disregard of ladies services in the legal system as a whole, says one would-be female lawyer. “I joined Islamic studies at university because I wanted to work in law,” said Areej Abdul Hay. “Specialized study is not open for women but I finished my Islamic studies and I do not see any problem in us joining the court system to help women.” Areej, who hopes one day to be a lawyer, says that while as many as half of all cases affect and involve women, there is a lack of legal services for them, services that are in particular demand due to the propensity for women to be unaware of court procedures. The lack of attention to women in the court system also creates other civic problems. In one reported case, a woman posing as another woman was married without having to prove her identity. Since the courts do not request proof of identity for women, the marriage was certified based only on proof of the groom’s identity. The fraud was revealed later only after the victim of identity theft discovered that she was robbed of her father’s inheritance when the other woman claimed it without having to prove her identity. Mamdouh Salem, a court employee, supports the idea of opening of a female branch in the court system, but pointed out that it would not solve the problem of identity theft. “I support the idea of opening a female branch in all government departments. I do agree that the biggest problem in court is confirming female identity. I do not think that by opening the female section, all problems would be solved. What will solve the fake identity problem is the female identification card. If it were compulsory then the problem would be solved because court clerks could ask for proof of identification. But I am sure that most women will reject this idea,” said Salem. Saudi Arabia recently began offering women the option of having their own identification cards separate from the traditional family IDs. However, many women choose not to have the card because it requires them to provide a full-facial photograph. Abdullah Al-Othaim, a judge, concedes there are cases of fake identity. “It is possible that people are faking other people’s identity,” said Othaim. “What we can do is try to limit it as much as possible. Banks are depending more on female signatures than their pictures. We do the same but if we see that it is important to confirm the female identity, we do that.” Opening the court system to women, says Areej, would also help the Kingdom achieve the stated goals of employing more women. However, judge Othaim said that he is against the idea of opening a women’s branch in the court system because it would lead to unnecessary duplication of state expenses.

The duties and responsibilities of the Khalifa

1. Safeguard Islam in its original form, and to protect against the introduction of new things (bid'a) into Islam.
   
2. Establish justice (including punishments for crimes) among the people.
   
3. Ensure the protection of the ummah. People within the boundaries of the Muslim state (regardless of whether they are Muslims or not) should feel secure enough to be productive.
   
4. Protect the physical boundaries of the state through the use of arms and other methods.
   
5. Defend the rights of Muslims abroad, and to see to it that Islam can spread freely in non-Muslim lands (including the use of force).
   
6. Organize jihad against any non-Muslim government which prevents Muslim da'wah from entering its land.
   
7. Collect and distribute zakat and the spoils of war according to the Qur'an and Sunnah (and ijtihad, if necessary). This must be done without the use of fear as an incentive (unless a person refuses to pay). Zakat is not to be taken from the best or worst of people's possessions, but rather from the middle.
   
8. Pay the salaries of Bayt-ul-Mal employees, i.e., those people whose job is the collection of zakat and other state-levied taxes. Their salaries should be reasonable and be paid on time.
   
9. Hire honest people as helpers, aides, governors, etc. The Khalifa must appoint to public office those who are competent and who can give good advice. This especially applies to Bayt-ul-Mal officials.
   Be heavily involved personally in the acts of governing. The Khalifa must be actively checking and overseeing the duties of the government, and constantly be guarding against internal corruption.

Dont plan on reasoning with muslims on this issue because of quran 33:36 and 5:101 which makes it clear to muslims that it is he who questions the morality of these things, who is in the wrong. Is 8:17 teaching that muslims arent responsible for their actions?

Muslims often say: "Its's against islam to kill innocent women and children in war". There is a reason for this. Women and children are considered a commodity as spoils of war. Dead women and children have no value on the slave market, or as reward to fighters. Muhammad encouraged the eradication of non-muslims and their influence (8.39), offered an 80% incentive of ANYTHING they acquired in the process (8.41 - do the basic math), then when the muslim men expressed sexual interest in the females they acquired as booty, he condoned their rape (4.24).


Muslims will try to refute this by saying that quran 4.24 refers only to marriage, but they are either misinformed or lying. Quran 4.3 refers to marriage. Quran 4.24 refers to sex.


Hijab, burkas, chadors came about as a visual symbol of the women who were supposed to be immune from this.

Narrated Ibn Umar:
Bani An-Nadir and Bani Quraiza fought (against the Prophet violating their peace treaty), so the Prophet exiled Bani An-Nadir and allowed Bani Quraiza to remain at their places (in Medina) taking nothing from them till they fought against the Prophet again) . He then killed their men and distributed their women, children and property among the Muslims, but some of them came to the Prophet and he granted them safety, and they embraced Islam. He exiled all the Jews from Medina. They were the Jews of Bani Qainuqa', the tribe of 'Abdullah bin Salam and the Jews of Bani Haritha and all the other Jews of Medina.

I heard that the people asked the Prophet of Allah (peace_be_upon_him): Water is brought for you from the well of Buda'ah. It is a well in which dead dogs, menstrual clothes and excrement of people are thrown. The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) replied: Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything.

In all of these links, notice the words 'fundamentals' and 'sunnah'. Sunni muslims are called that because they are followers of the sunnah. The MSA in the links means 'Muslim Student Association'.

There is NO SUCH THING as a 36% or a 84% muslim. DO NOT assume they embrace 21st century concepts of human rights, and equality, and seem nice and peaceful. This is primitive 7th century political ideology and they exploit the misguided fact that they are percieved as a 'religion', and exploit that they have created the illusion that islam a 'religion of peace', or 'islam means peace'.

DO NOT buy into the myth that islam has been 'hijacked' or has been given a false image by the media.

Any muslims who claim otherwise is denouncing their very own islamic teachings. Why would a muslim deny that what I'm saying is true? SIMPLE! They want you to believe what THEY want you to believe!

I have EXTENSIVE experience dealing with muslims. I've never heard a single one of them denounce the hadiths mentioned above as even the SLIGHTEST bit questionable in justice or morality.

Muhammad is not a true Prophet of God

Read this hadith and note how muhammad advocates rape and is even present and more than likely participating.

Muhammad and his gang went out and acquired some "excellent Arab women" as slaves. They wanted to have sex with them (rape would be a more appropriate word), but were concerned that impregnating the girls would ruin their value on the slave market (ransom). Perplexed, they decided to ask muhammad what they should do (since he was there with them). They asked him if they should 'pull out' before ejaculating to prevent this. Instead of condemning rape as an immoral act, Muhammad replies: Dont worry, the child doesnt come from you, it comes from allah. And, Dont worry, "The child does not come from all the liquid (sermen) - look at 3381 -(semen in english). He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi'l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Mes- senger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.

If you present this to a muslim they will deny it, downplay it, and accuse you of making it up. These are authentic (sahih) hadith that have been accepted by the 'Ummah' (Islamic community) for centuries. This is what makes up the 'sunnah' (traditions of the Ummah based on the lifestyle and teachings of muhammad via the hadith). Thats why in the link it says 'fundamentals/hadithsunnah. This is islamic sharia law. If these are fabricated or 'weak' hadith, why are they there and why have they BEEN THERE for centuries? Muslims very own islamic texts say muhammad participated in kidnapping, rape, human trafficking, murder, pedophilia, terrorism and want us to believe he was the 'perfect man'? Are you kidding me? Of course they will only present the sugarcoated version complete with smokescreen words like 'noble' and 'glorious' and 'exemplory' to hide that islam is deeply rooted in primitive, despicable 7th century tribalism and superstition.

He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

quran 53:19-22 says that siring females is an insult. Saying allah has children is bad enough but females! Gasp! Insult to injury! This is called misogyny.

WHAT!… For you the male sex, and for Him, the female? Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair!”

We've heard that muslim men get 72 virgins (Hoor Al-`Een) and all that, but whats in it for muslim women?
Good question. Apparently allah (muhammad) didnt bother to spend any time to clarify this. Check out this fatwa and notice how the sheik cant bring himself to simply say NO. :

Dear questioner, we would like to thank you for your good question and we implore Almighty Allah for His help in furnishing you with the best answer. In the very beginning, we would like to cite Ibn Kathir’s comment on the issue of men having Hoor Al-`Een. It reads:“ Almighty Allah tells us that He will provide the residents of Paradise with beautiful wives who have big and lustrous eyes and 'whom no man or Jinn before them has touched' and who are 'Like unto rubies and coral'”. In fact, Paradise is the abode of the believers in the Hereafter. Allah has prepared for His believing servants, males and females, in Paradise indescribable bliss that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard of and that has never ever crossed the minds of people, to the extent that even the person who has the least blessings in Paradise will think that he is the most blessed one. In more than one Qur'anic verse, Allah, Most High, calls upon His servants to do their utmost in order to be favored with Paradise. For example, He says, "And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off (evil)." (Al `Imran: 133) All this indicates that in Paradise believing men and women will be showered with blessings; there is no room for discrimination based on gender in Paradise. Focusing more on this issue, Sheikh `Atiyyah Saqr, former Head of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, adds: “Here Allah mentions the Hoor Al`Een because in most cases men pursue women and not vice versa. As for women, Allah Almighty may marry them to any of the believers in Paradise, if they did not get married during worldly life, or He may compensate them by making them feel content with their position. It is also said that Allah may grant women some kind of beauty with which they will feel that they are better than the Hoor Al-`Een and that they are their mistress, so they will not love anyone other than their own husbands nor will they feel jealous of the Hoor Al-`Een.”

Sauda (the wife of the Prophet) went out to answer the call of nature after it was made obligatory (for all the Muslims ladies) to observe the veil. She was a fat huge lady, and everybody who knew her before could recognize her. So 'Umar bin Al-Khattab saw her and said, "O Sauda! By Allah, you cannot hide yourself from us, so think of a way by which you should not be recognized on going out. Sauda returned while Allah's Apostle was in my house taking his supper and a bone covered with meat was in his hand. She entered and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I went out to answer the call of nature and 'Umar said to me so-and-so." Then Allah inspired him (the Prophet) and when the state of inspiration was over and the bone was still in his hand as he had not put in down, he said (to Sauda), "You (women) have been allowed to go out for your needs."
