qu'ran 8:039-041 Note how the the word 'fitna' is translated as 'tumult and oppression'. In reality it means 'temptation/disbelief from non-muslims'. In the muslim mind this is considered tumult and oppression apparently..... simply by existing. This is considered opposition in the same sense as a candidate will have another candidate running in an election as the 'opposition'. The goal is to eliminate the 'opposition' just like Hitler did in 1930s Nazi Germany when he outlawed all other political parties or 'opposition'. This is why you will have a bible or any Christian paraphenalia confiscated at the airport when you arrive in Saudi Arabia. The islamic world is commonly referred to by muslims as Dar al Islam (house of islam) and the rest of the world as Dar al Fitna (house of non-muslims, disbelief, temptation) or sometimes Dar al Harb (lands that muslims are required to take through war (harb)). But you see, the translators figure that 'tumult and oppression' sounds more patriotic. See this discussed elsewhere about this very same verse from the quran. Here is a way to see how the word 'fitnatun' is used in the quran: Go to www.quranbrowser.com and type in fitnatun. Notice how it is used to denote trial, test and temptation. The translation of 'Sale' is the most accurate because it clearly says 'opposition'. Fitnatun refers to temptation from anything non-islamic and 8.39 clearly says 'fight' them (as we learned from the cartoon demonstration pictures and videos, this means massacre, behead, annihilate, slay, etc.) until

And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.

This actually means fight until there is no more OPPOSITION (trial, test, tempatation), and islam rules the world with no constraints of time or borders. This is islamic totalitarian imperialism. Just like the mafia, Muhammad feels it necessary to SPECIFICALLY include HIMSELF and HIS FAMILY as a recipient of the stolen material spoils! UNREAL! 'God' needs 20% of war spoils? Are you kidding me? A 'Prophet of God' needs 20% of war spoils? What a complete hoax.
Lo! Go out, eradicate the opposition, take their stuff, keep 80% and give me 20% kickback of the spoils (of course this includes slave women, or as the quran terms it: what your 'right hands possess'). After I take what I want, I'll throw some stuff to my family and friends and some junk to the needy. Its great for public relations! Pander to the constituency! Afterall....... God said! And.. pant pant... 'God' also said I can have as many wives as I want but you cant! Quran 33:50
Pssst.... But dont worry! Just call them 'spoils of war' or cute little names like 'handmaidens', 'bondwoman', or 'right hand possess'.... wink wink. Allah knows best!

Side note: Although the alleged 'God' in the quran can discuss at length the distribution of blood money (money acquired through murder), material spoils of war, the etiquette of handling and 'enjoying' slave women, and other despicable practices, he never quite found the time to abolish slavery. No matter how muslims will try to spin it, nowhere in the quran, hadith or sharia will you find anything even resembling an outright banning of slavery. But allah (ie; 'god' according to muhammad and muslims) can say "What favors of your lord will ye deny?" 32 times! But not once can he bring himself to abolish slavery in the alleged 'final message to all mankind (so-called 'last testament'). Most merciful? All knowing? But I'm a 'hater' for pointing this out, right?
